Confidential Treatment Referrals
Talk with a Professional, we have more than a 35-year history providing confidential screening and referral services to individuals and families seeking treatment for substance use disorders. Our well-trained staff are dedicated to providing you with the help you need.
Listen - Providing you with an empathetic ear. We know that by the time you reach out for help, you are at your wit's end, hurting, and probably feel alone. When we are talking to you, you are the most important person in the world for us.
Educate – Explaining addiction and the options available to you for treatment. We know living with addiction is frustrating and confusing. We will explain what is happening to you or your loved one, and then help you understand what you can expect from treatment.
Refer – Providing you with two treatment options that best meet your needs. Navigating the treatment process is a daunting task, fraught with conflicting information. We will help you find a program for which you are eligible and appropriate for your needs.
Wellspring's caring staff is available by phone from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If we are not available, please feel free to leave us a message so we can call you back, or call the New Jersey Addiction Services Hotline at 844-276-2777 for immediate assistance.
Wellspring has replicated our Helpline experience as much as possible through our online self-screening tool. You will be asked a series of questions related to your current drug history, physical and mental health, prior treatment experience, and other factors that will allow us to provide you with referrals to two local treatment programs for which you are eligible and best meet your needs. This tool will help determine which level of treatment is most appropriate, whether it is hospital detoxification, a residential program, or one of a number of outpatient options.
Wellspring has compiled a detailed guide to help you understand the various types of treatment available and then choose the ones that best meet your needs. Each level of treatment from detoxification to inpatient and outpatient programs to support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous will be explained, so you can make the best decision for you. Specialized services such as those required for women who are pregnant, individuals who are experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders simultaneously, and even those who are struggling with nicotine addiction are also provided.
