This course is designed to explore the complex relationship of family dysfunction, alcohol and drug abuse and prevention. Interactive exercises will be used to present adaptive roles and defense mechanisms of both addicted individuals and their family members. Strategies for assisting individuals and families will be discussed in depth.

Important notes:

  • This registration is for BOTH days of training (Thursday & Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) unless the class is scheduled for only one day.
  • Purchase Orders or checks are NOT accepted.
  • If you are using a NJPN scholarship certificate, please be sure to insert the number provided to you in the designated space in the online registration form.
  • All classes are held virtually via Zoom. Log-in information will be shared in advance of each class.

Cancellation and Refund policy

  • We request a 24-hour notice to cancel your registration for this class. Be aware that registrants who provide at least a 24-hour notice when canceling his/her scheduled attendance of a class can opt to reschedule to another CPS class. Otherwise, funds WILL NOT BE refunded.

Each class starts promptly at 9AM.

Wellspring’s CPS courses are approved for six (6) initial and renewal hours towards Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credentials issued by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) (Provider #208)
