Wellspring Center for Prevention trainings are designed to be interactive, professional learning experiences. To receive full credit and a certificate of completion, participants are expected to attend the full training, participate appropriately, and follow all attendance and participation requirements for the course format.

General Attendance and Participation Requirements

Participants must attend the full training session, whether the course is held in person or virtually. Participants are expected to be present, attentive, and engaged throughout the course.

For in-person trainings, participants must remain in the training room for the full session, except during scheduled breaks or with instructor approval. Participants who leave early, arrive late, miss significant portions of the training, or are otherwise unable to fully participate may not be eligible to receive a certificate of completion.

Virtual Attendance and Participation Requirements

For virtual trainings, participants must have access to a computer, tablet, or smart device with a reliable internet connection, a working camera, and a working microphone. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their device, internet connection, camera, and microphone are functioning properly before the training begins.

Wellspring’s virtual trainings are synchronous, interactive learning experiences. Participants are expected to attend the training as they would an in-person class.

To receive credit, participants must be visibly present on camera for the full duration of the course. Participants may not work, drive, travel, run errands, or engage in other activities that prevent them from fully participating in the training.

Camera and Microphone Requirement

Participants are required to keep their camera on throughout virtual trainings so attendance and participation can be verified. Participants must also have access to a working microphone and be prepared to participate verbally when requested by the instructor.

Participants who are not visible on camera for the full course, who are not actively engaged, or who appear to be participating while working, driving, traveling, or otherwise distracted may be marked as not having completed the course.

Recording Notice for Virtual Trainings

Please note that virtual training sessions may be recorded to verify attendance, participation, and course completion requirements. Recordings may be used by Wellspring Center for Prevention for internal attendance verification, compliance, and quality assurance purposes.

Certificate and Refund Eligibility

Participants who do not meet the attendance and participation requirements for a training may be removed from the course, may not receive a certificate of completion, and may not be eligible for a refund.

By registering for and attending a Wellspring Center for Prevention training, participants acknowledge and agree to the attendance, participation, camera, microphone, recording, certificate, and refund requirements described in this policy.
