Instructor: Josh Collins
Description: This course focuses not only on client trauma but also on the ways clinicians themselves can be traumatized. The session reviews education about trauma and how it develops before moving into interventions. Special attention is given to ‘parts work,’ narrative interventions, developing values, and creating a personal mission statement. Self-care and burnout are also addressed. Participants will complete a timeline, pictorial narrative, and personal code of honor.
