Coordinating Community Prevention Activities (P403)
In this course participants will increase their knowledge in working to build community ownership of prevention programs by collaborating with key community leaders and members when planning, implementing and evaluating a program. Additionally skills for providing technical assistance to those key leaders and members of the community will be addressed. Participants will also be able to identify and describe the application of prevention strategies in various settings.
Class delivered via Zoom over two days. YOU MUST register for the first class in order to be able to attend both days and receive a certificate.
Please note: If you are using a purchase order to pay for this class, there will be an additional $6.00 charged for processing, per class!
The Wellspring Center for Prevention has instituted a new “No Show” policy that will result in a $15 fee assessed to any individual who fails to show up for a class or event held at or by the agency for which a fee is required. Individuals who cancel their appointments at least 24 hours in advance will not be charged a fee.
