Class Description:
Are you a new Addictions Counselor in this field? Are you lost somewhere between the sea of Acronyms, Motivational Interviewing and all the State Regulations that keep changing? Jump on this luxury lifeboat and learn to navigate this field. Working with a population that has Substance Use Disorders or Cooccurring Disorders will change daily. Can you keep up? This course will address the basic for new counselors, self-care, advocacy, skills, and perseverance.
