Join us for the 2025 Tree of Hope Ceremony as we honor recovery, resilience, and the power of community. This annual tradition brings together individuals, families, and organizations across Middlesex County to celebrate those in recovery, remember lives lost, and stand in support of those still struggling.

The Tree of Hope Ceremony provides a space of remembrance and hope, highlighting personal stories of recovery and reaffirming our collective commitment to building healthier communities.

2025 Tree of Hope Recipient: Middlesex County ASAP

The Association of Student Assistance Professionals of New Jersey is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting over 1.3 million public school students and families through substance abuse prevention and early intervention. Founded in 1983, ASAP‑NJ empowers Student Assistance Coordinators (SACs) and other professionals across New Jersey to develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive programs that address high-risk behaviors, foster mental health, and strengthen school-community collaboration.

As the 2025 Tree of Hope Recipient, Middlesex County ASAP exemplifies dedication to youth, resilience, and community; a perfect reflection of the hope and connection at the heart of this ceremony.

2025 Recovery Champion: Andy Dean

We are proud to honor Andy Dean as this year’s Recovery Champion. With a career in mental health and substance use treatment since 2008, Andy serves as Senior Community Liaison at Princeton House Behavioral Health, hosts the Mind on Mental Health podcast, and co-developed a new treatment track for anxiety and mood disorders. He also founded Dean Counseling and Consultation in Bordentown, where he specializes in evidence-based therapy for anxiety and OCD. Known for his humor, devotion to family, and playful spirit, Andy continues to inspire hope and connection in the recovery community.

We are honored to celebrate Andy’s leadership, compassion, and lasting contributions to the recovery community.
