This course will reinforce the correlation between substance abuse and the eight different types of violence, including domestic violence, gangs, school violence, hate crimes, and child abuse, among others. The role of the perpetrator and victim will be discussed. The course will also focus on specific compulsive behaviors, including gambling, eating disorders and gaming.
Important notes:
- This registration is for BOTH days of training (Thursday & Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
- Purchase Orders are NOT accepted.
- If you are using a NJPN scholarship certificate, please be sure to insert the number provided to you in the designated space in the online registration form.
- All classes will be held at virtually via Zoom. Attendance log-in information will be shared with those who signed up for the class, in advance.
Each class starts promptly at 9AM.
Wellspring’s CPS courses have been approved for six (6) initial and renewal hours towards Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credentials issued by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) (Provider #208)
