You can’t put a round peg into a square hole. This course presents information about children, adolescents, older adults, LGBTQ individuals, individuals with disabilities, individuals with mental illness and community professionals to help the prevention specialist make programming relevant to the target audience. This interactive class will benefit prevention staff by identifying community resources and risk factors specific to each population.
Important notes:
- This registration is for BOTH days of training (Thursday & Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) unless the class is scheduled for only one day.
- Purchase Orders or checks are NOT accepted.
- If you are using a NJPN scholarship certificate, please be sure to insert the number provided to you in the designated space in the online registration form.
- All classes are held virtually via Zoom. Log-in information will be shared in advance of each class.
Cancellation and Refund policy
- If you need to cancel your registration, please provide at least one (1) business day’s notice. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued. However, you may request a course credit that can be applied to future classes within the next three months.
Each class starts promptly at 9AM.
Wellspring’s CPS courses are approved for six (6) initial and renewal hours towards Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credentials issued by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) (Provider #208)
