To be effective, prevention activities must be tailored to the target population. This involves applying the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) strategies and using best practices. Activities can be designed using the Logic Model to address the needs of the community. By the end of this course, you will be able to apply various methods to the design of effective prevention activities.
Important notes:
- This registration is for BOTH days of training (Thursday & Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
- Purchase Orders are NOT accepted.
- If you are using a NJPN scholarship certificate, please be sure to insert the number provided to you in the designated space in the online registration form.
- All classes will be held at virtually via Zoom. Attendance log-in information will be shared with those who signed up for the class, in advance.
Each class starts promptly at 9AM.
Wellspring’s CPS courses have been approved for six (6) initial and renewal hours towards Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credentials issued by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) (Provider #208)
