P 603: Cultural Competency

This course will increase cultural awareness, discuss the need for change, and importance of competency for the prevention professional. It will focus on understanding different cultures on a worldwide-bases, building skills necessary for effectively working within certain communities and populations as well as identifying different resources that can aid in providing the best cultural practice.

Important notes:

• You must register for each class separately.
• Purchase Orders are NOT accepted.
• If you are using a NJPN scholarship certificate, please be sure to insert the number provided to you in the designated space in the online registration form.
• All classes will be held at virtually via Zoom. Attendance log-in information will be shared with those who signed up for the class, in advance.

Each class starts promptly at 9AM.
