Program Design (Domain 1: Planning and Evaluation)

Summary: To be effective, prevention programs must be tailored to the specific audience. This involves careful assessment of the population’s learning needs. Programs must be age and culturally appropriate, and take various learning styles into consideration as the format of the program and activities are designed. By the end of this course, you will be able to apply various learning theories to the design of an effective prevention program.

  • You must register for each class separately.
  • Purchase Orders are NOT accepted.
  • If you are using a NJPN scholarship certificate, please be sure to insert the number provided to you in the designated space in the online registration form.
  • All classes will be held at virtually via Zoom. Attendance log-in information will be shared with those who signed up for the class, in advance.

Each class starts promptly at 10AM.

Wellspring’s courses have been approved for six initial and renewal hours toward the Addiction Counselor License and Certification (LCADC and CADC) in New Jersey. They are also approved for CEU’s needed for the CPS, MFT, MFT-Permit, LPC, LAC, and LRC credentials, as well as re-certification hours for all credentials issued by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) (Provider #208).
