The course will review the latest developments in ethical thinking, standards, and practice. Students will have an opportunity to strengthen ethical awareness, judgement, and decision-making. This course will also review the many changes and challenges brought about by new technology, EHRs, videoconferencing, and texting in our fields of practice. Students will discuss concepts of moral distress and moral courage. The trainer uses an experiential model of learning that will include lecture, case studies, and individual and small group interaction, to stimulate participants’ engagement and practical learning.
