Prevention of Violent and Compulsive Behaviors (P204)

This course will reinforce the correlation between substance abuse and the eight different types of violence, including domestic violence, gangs, school violence, hate crimes, and child abuse among others. The role of the perpetrator and victim will be discussed. The course will also focus on specific compulsive behaviors including, gambling, eating disorders and gaming.

Class delivered via Zoom over two days. YOU MUST register for the first class in order to be able to attend both days and receive a certificate.

Please note: If you are using a purchase order to pay for this class, there will be an additional $6.00 charged for processing, per class!

The Wellspring Center for Prevention has instituted a new "No Show" policy that will result in a $15 fee assessed to any individual who fails to show up for a class or event held at or by the agency for which a fee is required. Individuals who cancel their appointments at least 24 hours in advance will not be charged a fee.
