Description: In case management and child welfare practice, successful intervention and treatment depend heavily on the quality of the caseworker’s relationship with the children and family. This program describes core elements of the helping relationship, provides techniques for building rapport, and includes strategies for engaging children and families in the work that needs to be accomplished.
