Class Description:

The course examines approaches, integration, and special populations using family therapy to treat SUD. It includes an overview of family-based treatment methods and family approaches to support ongoing recovery. You will also learn the basic theory and skills needed by Substance Use Disorder counselors to work effectively with individual family members, significant others, and whole families.
