Treatment services in New Jersey range from detoxification services and outpatient care, to short- and long-term residential treatment, and the clinician needs to understanding his/her available options. Prevention and early intervention and recovery support services are also available.
This course will examine the clinician’s perspectives in favor and against Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). Participants will be able to examine values associated with their opinions about MAT. Treatment options will be discussed and current programs to deal with the opiate epidemic in NJ will be discussed.

Our courses courses have been approved for six initial and renewal hours (unless otherwise stated) toward the Addiction Counselor License and Certification (LCADC and CADC) in New Jersey. They are also approved for CEU's needed for the MFT, MFT-Permit, LPC, LAC, and LRC credentials, as well as re-certification hours for all credentials issued by the Addictions Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) (Provider #208).
