This week marks the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) 10th annual National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week. For 10 years NIDA has been connecting students and teens with scientists to launch community wide educational events so that teens can learn the science surrounding drugs and addiction.The goal is to Shatter the Myths teens hear about drugs and alcohol on social media, television, in songs or from friends.
This year, we cannot hold community wide in-person events, so instead we are taking our message virtually.Each day from today, March 30 – Sunday April 5, check out the Coalition for Healthy Communities' Instagram and Facebook pages for interactive games and activities to Shatter the Myths.Today we are asking that you test your drug and alcohol IQ, by taking the Drug and Alcohol IQ quiz:
