Full Job Description

Wellspring’s School-Based Clinical Services, a rapidly expanding program that is changing the nature of in-school clinical services throughout Middlesex County, NJ is seeking a Clinical Supervisor in the Carteret, NJ area. The ideal candidates will possess experience working with middle school and/or high school students. Selected candidates will clinically supervise a staff of 3-5 clinicians and manage day to day operations of a school based program located at Carteret Middle School. The clinical supervisor will also maintain a caseload. Selected candidates will work with a highly seasoned and professional management team that is dedicated to providing the best possible clinical services. This position will include training to insure that the chosen individual will have strong knowledge in the organization's protocols and model of services.

 Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Clinical Supervision of Staff
  • Collaboration with administration and teachers in the building
  • Planning of program activities and events
  • Oversight of program activities and staff
  • Crisis assessment and management
  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Supportive counseling
  • Clinical Documentation
  • Team Meetings

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience treating children and/or adolescents, 5 years preferred. 
  • Must hold a clinical license in social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy in the state in which this position is being offered. Clinical license and ability to provide supervision to staff seeking licensure strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer.
  • Must have experience with clinical documentation.
